Gimme My Money

 Working at a Casino tells me a lot about us humans and how we fall short on holding down tempers when cold hard cash is on the line - especially when you add age, alcohol and other drugs in the mix. "Can you fix this machine to win?" is always the same question I get from everyone. I like to fuck with them and tell em' YES! Then I do a little genie lamp rub on the side of the machine and say voila! She's ready for your money now.. They look at me like - who's this asshole? And we all laugh.. until they start putting their money in and get serious with their luck. Most of the time the machines just break down in the middle of a hand or bonus and all they want is to get their money out and go somewhere else. Impatient as they may be, they'll still have to wait for the machine to run its course and kick out a voucher. Looking Young Sucks

 What's the use of looking young when you feel like shit all the time? Wouldn't it be better to have the whole package instead of a half-ass representation of who you really are? We all know that feeling great comes with a huge cost - some of which is time spent taking care of yourself through diet and exercise. And who wants to do that? Yes, we avoid the good things for us like the plague and gravitate to bad stuff like flies to shit. I feel this all the time and when I eat junk, I feel like junk. The only way for me to break the cycle is to hunker down and do what's right. And when I eat better, I begin to feel better. And when I exercise, I feel younger to finally match the way I look. I'm no spring chicken and there are other people my age who look a hell of a lot younger than me. But I do get surprised from time to time when people tell me that I don't look my age.
